Im tired of paying 82$, 9 years into having vz, with my phone paid off, and strictly using wifi at my house bc I dont get service there. Generating my phone number transfer pin online didn't work and when the number I was given when I called didnt work either, so I came into the store. They gave me a different pin number than the woman on the phone- even though they promised and swore up and down that only 1 number could possibly be generated every 7 days. And that number also didn't work. I kept getting texts every single minute since the first phone call that a new pin was being generated. The manager said she could not help me, that I would have to call 611 again. Talking to the 3rd person finally worked. 2 hours of my day has been wasted trying to resolve this. Pro tip so you save 2 hours: you don't need a generated pin!!! just use the last 4 digits of your phone number followed by 00. May you all cancel your vz accounts quickly and easily!!!!
