The dark dude doesn't know how to do his job and doesn't want to work. Typical.

My mother and I visited this Verizon location to upgrade a phone and were quoted $187 total, including the protection plan, by Shawn Moore. Shawn even went to confirm this price with his business manager, Brian, who approved it. Based on that confirmation, we proceeded with the upgrade and data transfer. During the transfer process, Shawn was largely disengaged and offered little assistance. When we asked for a printed copy of the quoted price before leaving, Shawn was unavailable, and Jeremy Titter helped us print the receipt while Shawn stood by. That receipt showed our next bill would actually be $205, not the $187 we were repeatedly quoted. When we questioned the discrepancy, Shawn denied ever quoting $187 and, along with Jeremy, framed it as a “miscommunication” rather than acknowledging that we were misquoted. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since the price had allegedly been confirmed by management. We left and went to another Verizon location, where a representative was professional and willing to help. She even called this store to clarify the issue and was hung up on, then had to call back just to ask that remarks be left. Unfortunately, the remarks placed the blame on us, stating that we “didn’t understand” the pricing, instead of taking accountability for the incorrect quote. This experience was disappointing due to the lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism. I would recommend proceeding with caution at this location.

If I could do 0 I would. Unless you are willing to sign up for an expensive plan they will waste your time and refuse service. I tried to buy a tablet to activate myself. I had cash, I should be able to buy a device. Nope, instead they wasted an hour of my time..... and the promotion I was planning to use is expired. What terrible garbage treatment of paying customers. To top it off this was a Christmas gift. I hope they all get coal for Christmas.

I’ve been a Verizon customer for over 13 years, but this store really let me down. Like several other reviews mention, I got the distinct impression they were more interested in adding lines to my account than giving me straightforward service. They tried to convince me that an extra line would be “paid for with credits,” but when I checked Verizon’s own website, the math didn’t add up — my actual quote online was cheaper and more transparent. I don’t want extra lines “covered by discounts”; I want the lines I actually use at the best possible price, and I didn’t get that honesty here. To top it off, the woman who answered the phone before my visit was rude and dismissive, telling me it was “policy” not to give inventory info over the phone — even though another corporate store had no issue doing exactly that. I ended up wasting about an hour and a half of my time because I trusted them instead of my instincts after that call. After 13 years as a loyal Verizon customer, this experience really soured my view of the brand — and quite possibly cost Verizon my business.
