Don’t bother coming here. Or using geek squad in general. Staff is so incredibly rude. If you hate your job that much then find a new one. I came here a few hours after a poor experience at the concord mills location, made an appointment for 3:40 and got there a little early to ask if they even had my screen in stock before I continued to wait around (because the last location had one in stock but because their system told them they didn’t, they wouldn’t do it and I live 1.5 hrs away from this location) and before making the appointment at this location I tried to call and see if they had the screen just to be told I had to go to the store to ask that. Well, I go, & to even ask a question I was told I had to wait until they got done with repairs for me to ask. So I wait 45 minutes or so to ask my question and get confirmation that they have it, leave for 20 minutes just to come back because they wouldn’t let me check the phone in early. They then proceeded to take my phone for “tests” comes back and tells me it’ll probably be 2 hours then the other employee speaks up and says there’s a repair ahead of me so could be longer (ok so what’s the point of an appointment) and I said ok then how long he said worse case scenario they’d have it done by time they closed (8pm) I told him I couldn’t wait until 8pm because of how far away I lived which he then proceeds to tell me that he has already checked my phone in for repair (not my problem?? You didn’t tell me the time frame before checking it in??) and acted like he didn’t want to give me my phone back. I ask him again what realistically the time frame would be because my sister drove me up there and she was my ride so it was ultimately up to her and he says 2 hrs and that “it’s just a screen repair it’s not that difficult) ok then why do you need it for 5 hours then??? I finally agree and he says he’ll call me when it’s ready (how are you going to call me if you have my phone?????) was so confused by the whole interaction at this point. My sister steps in and gives him her number and he says he will call. I give it about 3 hours and go to check and see if it’s done yet and it was so apparently they were just keeping it cause they sure didn’t call. I get to the car and get a text saying it was done and ready to be picked up at 4:59pm) about 1.5 before when I got there to check on it. How was I supposed to receive that text????? I will never use geek squad again. Never in my life. I’d rather stub my big toe into a brick wall 20 times then have to deal with them again. Apparently appointments are useless and all of the staff is full of attitude.

I always come to geek squad and they are very helpful however my experience yesterday was not what it should’ve been.. I simply came in to have someone help me pull off the keyboard so that I could replace the battery.. I just didn’t wanna break it... a Caucasian , brown/ black haired older woman with glasses (sorry I don’t know her name) approached me with no concern for my issue at all.. she didn’t even look at my computer before telling me “that’s not the right, I’m sorry we can’t help you, have a good day” ..... I was so caught off guard .. I tried to explain that it was the right battery ... I literally have done this before ... I just couldn’t lift the keyboard (I later found out it was because there were 2 screws I forgot to take out). Her customer service was absolutely terrible.. every time I tried to explain what I needed help with she would cut me off and say “I’m sorry I’m not going to help you” ... to avoid cursing her out.. I left .. and complained to a manager. Idk what happened from there. I was very disappointed
