- LKLars KnappJan 14, 20261.0Don't switch to Verizon - their motto is "the customer is always wrong". I made a mistake when setting up my auto pay and accidentally typed my account number wrong. After the payment got kicked back and I tried again to no avail, I paid in full with my debit card from the same account. I was promptly put on a "Cash Only" restriction that is impossible to get out of for 6 months. Cash only literally means that you have to take out cash from an ATM and bring it physically to the store to make your payments. Nobody was able to do anything. I walked down the street to AT&T and am now their customer. I am still not out of this nightmare and will have to go back to this store again to make another cash payment for my final bill because they were incapable of generating it so I could make my final payment after I switched. The team is incredibly nice at the store, but they do not have the tools they need to meet customer's needs. Do not go to the store if you have any real problems, they are not empowered to help you. This is by far the farthest out of their way any company has ever gone to inconvenience me.

Initially, I went in to create my own account and have my phone transferred. Instead, I left with a great new (and updated) plan for my family, which resulted in a $21 reduction per line per month AND the elimination of some things my family had been paying for that we weren't utilizing!! Ben Daniels was my sales associate and I can't begin to describe how helpful he was! He was very thorough and incredibly patient as he made sure I knew what each charge was for and what my best options were. Five stars for you all!! Thank you for helping make an intimidating process so seamless!
