Been going here for years and generally always have a good experience but recently I had a dash Cam installed & they did a fantastic job. I had an associate named Mir Baluch do the install & he was knowledgeable, personable & friendly. It was a quick, flawless install with no wires you can see anywhere & he even took the extra time to walk me through how to use & set up my dash cam. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could, 10/10 service if you are needing auto installs

Im not sure what the policy is for bestbuy, but I spent over 30m browsing at computers and no one approached asking if I want assistance with purchasing one.
I spent another 30m in the TV side of the store and the same situation happened. I ended up going to the check out and was finally able to get help with the item I was wanting to purchase.
Icing on the cake? The pushy sales tactics to get you into a subscription plan. If there is no one to help me purchase new items, then why would I believe that there will be anyone to assist me with fixing an item in the future?
If you have the means to, go to Microcenter. If anyone from Microcenter HQ is reading this, and is wondering where the next location should be built - across the street from this Best Buy would be a great place to start.

Yesterday, I came in person to the Cary Best Buy to purchase a tablet for college. I was unsure about whether to purchase an Apple tablet or a Samsung tablet. As I was looking through different products, an employee named Zion McKnight came and asked if he could help me find what I was looking for. He would spend the next 30 or so minutes helping me decide on which tablet was best while also showing me a Samsung tablet that was on discount and was within my budget. I was very pleased with his help and knowledge, which made me feel more reassured that I chose the right tablet for College.

I had a very frustrating experience at this Best Buy location today. I came in trying to make a purchase with my certificates, and instead of receiving support, I was met with an unnecessarily rude and dismissive attitude from the employee at the register because he was unable to apply my certificates.
Throughout the interaction, he spoke to me in a demanding and condescending tone, as if he was doing me a favor fixing the issue rather than helping resolve a system issue on his side. What made the situation worse is that he was also on the phone with someone else, a family member or something while helping me. the problem clearly stemmed from a system malfunction on their end, yet he demanded that I needed comply with his instructions , because quote ‘ I need something from him , not the other way around. ‘ When I buy something from a store I think of a partnership, not who is doing who a favor.
Customer service should be about listening, problem-solving, and treating people with respect—especially when something has already gone wrong. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that standard.
Based on this interaction, I will not be returning to this stor to avoid this individual. He needs some serious customer service training.

Excellent Customer Service Experience
We visited Best Buy a few days ago and had an outstanding experience thanks to an employee named Nick.
From the beginning, Nick was incredibly attentive, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to clearly explain and compare different products, helping us understand the options without ever making us feel rushed. We were quite undecided on several items, but his guidance made the entire process much easier and more enjoyable.
We purchased multiple products including a TV, vacuum cleaner, hair styling tool, coffee machine, and a computer. For each one, Nick provided valuable insights and helped us find the best options and deals that truly suited our needs.
His professionalism, product knowledge, and genuine approach made a big difference. It’s clear that he enjoys what he does and takes pride in helping customers.
Best Buy is already our go-to store for technology, but having employees like Nick makes the experience even better.
He truly deserves recognition and a big thank you.
