Time was of the essence. Computers went down leading to a long drug out service.

You could not PAY ME to take a phone from here. After battling 4 people from India I thought I was being helped. Turned out nope, this store is “only sales” even though they swear they’ll be there to help with anything you need. Garbage. They then refused to honor the $700 credits in my account and said they “don’t have to honor them” ?!?!?! do yourself a favor and go to spectrum! Same coverage 1/3 price!!! Absolutely never again.

I rarely write reviews, but my blood still boils when I think about my experience with Verizon. If I can help anyone else from going through what I went through, that is the goal. My family has been with Verizon since before I can even remember (at least 15 years). I had been on the "Framily" plan with my family, but my husband and I recently decided to get our own account. I went into this location, because we live in Leland. I also did not want to have to set up this entirely new account through customer service over the phone.
I went in there planning to start a business account with just my husband and myself on it. We somehow got talked into a scam of a "promotion" that actually gave us four lines (the sales guy said it was apparently the same price as two lines). With this promotion, we would also get $600 off each new phone and $1000 credit towards our Verizon account (never got this and was told something different about it every time I went back in). I did NOT want to do this promotion, because I did NOT want four lines. Somehow he figured out how to pressure us into doing it, so we did. They always just walk to the back room to do whatever they need to do; they do not have any computers that they can show you what they are doing for you; and they will not provide you with ANY documentation of this so-called "promotion" you are receiving. I was told my phone bill would be $189 per month at first, and then that would go down to around $150, once I dropped the phone insurance. My first bill ended up being $278, second bill $262, they got it lower for me to $158 one month, and then it went back up to $202. I literally went into the store 5 different times over the course of 3 months. They never were able to really do anything for me; no explanation as to why my bill was outrageous and changed every month; and I finally learned that the guy that I frequently saw at the front of the store was actually the manager, who he never said one word to me or tried to actually help. Total disgrace of a store and horrible customer service.
Do yourself a favor and do NOT go with Verizon. I went into US Cellular to talk with them. The guy I worked with gave me his personal cell phone number, and continues to answer any questions I have, if I text him. The manager at US Cellular was extremely friendly; they had a promotion where they would buy me out of my Verizon phones; AND my phone bill is only $99 per month for both of us. Our service is exactly the same, and it is actually better in some areas than it was with Verizon. Verizon, DO BETTER.
