    If I could give this a zero review I would, people who work here are terrible at customer service, the bald man who’s up front is zero help, and not willing to work with a paying customer, this is absolutely ridiculous, they need new employees!

    The store manager, Logan, took care of all my needs. I had purchased a 65" TV and a 48" , a complete system, a TV mount, and a new laptop with accessories. Logan was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Logan listened to me while I explained the issue concerning one of these items. Logan didn't ask questions, he just fully fixed my issue. He followed through with the other items I bought by asking his associate to get the items and how to ring them up. I pay attention to customer care. Logan is the best model figure that every associate in every retail establishment should strive to be. My shopping experience at this South Asheville location was so easy and pleasant that I didn't want to leave. As I went through every department, I was greeted by an associate who could answer my questions and help me make decisions. It was clear to me that these associates are fully trained in not only product knowledge but, also customer care. I wish every establishment cared about customer service like this Best Buy store does.

    I purchased a Playstation 5 slim (brand new) from this best buy store, in April 2025. I had also purchased the 2 year Geek Squad extended warranty for the console. Couple of days ago (December18, 2025), the "touch pad" of the dual-sense 5 controller had something inside it causing the button to be stuck. Yesterday I took the controller to the store for an exchange, I was told I have to contact the 1800-Geek Squad, and they will send me a replacement controller at no extra charge. Last night I had called the 1800-Geek Squad number and spoke with a Indian Representative. The representative told me they can not exchange the controller, the representative directed me to return to the store, and they will exchange the controller with the geek squad warranty. Today, I went back to Best Buy and spoke with a manager. The manager told me the same thing (call 1800- Geek Squad) for the exchange. When I explained what the representative told me, he brought us to Geek Squad counter to see what they can do. Geek Squad spent 15 minutes to contact Sony. Sony wanted them to send my Playstation 5 console and the controller to Sony, just to swap out the controller. Geek Squad were trying to exchange the controller without having to send the console and the controller to Sony because there were no issues with the console itself. After 20 minutes of trying to see what they can do, they ended up "Opening" a new Playstation 5 console (they had at the counter) just to steal the new controller. They switched the controller for the new controller that was in the sealed box. So they apologized for the inconvenience but I just cant believe best buy cant just exchange the controller (that came with the console) for a new controller under their Geek Squad warranty without having to send the controller. While im happy that I was able to get a new controller that is working correctly, this is 100% unacceptable. If best buy cant exchange a Playstation 5 controller for a defect while its under "Geek Squad" protection, then Best buy shouldn't be selling the PS5 consoles at all. Best buy needs to find a solution that can exchange defective ps5 controllers without having to send the console to Sony for a controller issue. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for the exchange.
