I planned out a chunk of my Saturday to go in with my newlywed husband to finally start a plan of our own, as a new family. I was met with immediate push back on how they couldn’t possibly help us. It is not store policy to adjust plans, instead I would have to go home and contact each of our account owners and hope that they would have time in their busy schedules to sit on a customer service line to transfer our plans. On top of our intention to create a new plan of our own we also wanted to purchase new phones. It’s rather unfortunate for them, because we were practically pushed out the door instead of being met with eagerness to help fill a sale. We will be removing our phones from the Verizon network as soon as possible and buying new phones elsewhere.
