    Went in to get their $35-for$100GB Bell offer on December 29. The associate gave me another offer entirely, which ran up my cellphone bill in $50 in extra charges within minutes and then canceled my service. It also did this to my wife. Was unable to reach the store by phone to address the issue, and their toll free phone line for national office booted me off twice for reasons unknown. Their website "chat" only appears to deal with issues related to web orders. Zero out of 10. Be very very careful in your dealings.

    The employees followed me throughout the store as though i was going to steal something it seemed. I was going to buy $1,200 home theatre sound system but left because I was being harassed. Won't be going back or shopping with Bestbuy anymore.

    I shared my experience already, but now I have an up date. Just to recap, I bought a camera zoom lens at Best Buy Saint John. I told the agent that it was a Christmas gift for my daughter and asked what the return policy was. He said that I have a week to return it. I said that I would get her to try the lens out that night to see if it fits her camera. He said OK, and we said good bye. It wasn't a good match so I returned it two days later, only to find out that they were keeping 15% of MY hard earned money for a "restocking" the shelf fee. That worked out to be $31 that they kept from me. I was angry and hurt to say the least. Nothing I said would change their minds, even though the box was IDENTICAL to the way it was when I bought it, and the lens put back EXACTLY as it was. To prove it to them, I asked the manager on hand to open and see for himself. He said no at first, but I insisted. He did and saw for himself that all was well. Update: The owner replied to my previous review publicly, stating to contact them and thst they will make it right. I did, and they did NOTHING ,to help. They said sorry, but that is their policy, but they will share with the team to tell the customer about the 15% restocking fee. Angie

    I'd leave 0 stars if I could. First off, EVERYTHING is locked down and its impossible to find a worker to help. If you do find a worker, they're more confused than you. Tried to do a large amount of christmas shopping in there today (December 1st), and was treated like a criminal the entire time. Not allowed to look at different colored beats for my son (literally blocked the case from me), inquired about VR accessories and was basically yelled at by one worker. The place is full of unprofessional people. Really makes you think twice before spending any money there. Best buy needs to do some serious overhauling of the qualifications they look for in their employees.
