If I could give this store zero stars, I absolutely would. I genuinely cannot understand how a company as large as Best Buy can operate a store where employees seem completely unable—or unwilling—to help customers with even the most basic issues.
The staff on the sales floor appear to have little to no knowledge of how their own systems work. When I asked for help regarding a phone pre-order issue, the associate (Duncan) assisting me insisted that the store could not place the order, even while arguing with the Best Buy customer service representative on the phone who was telling him that they could. He then called over an assistant manager (Harshita), who also had no idea how the process worked and simply dismissed the situation instead of trying to resolve it.
Customer service was no better. The employees at the desk were rude, dismissive, and clearly unfamiliar with basic procedures. Multiple times when associates came over to “help,” they wouldn’t even make eye contact—just mumbled something and walked away while I stood there waiting for someone to actually take responsibility for the situation. At one point I stood there for over half an hour without any resolution and ultimately had to leave the store.
Because of repeated system issues with my order, I was instructed by the Best Buy helpline to visit the store multiple times. I ended up going back four or five separate times just to try to fix a problem that no one seemed capable of handling. This wasn’t just inconvenient—it cost me money, because the delays caused me to lose an offer that I should have received on my original order.
Even when I finally returned to place the order in person, the experience didn’t improve. One associate on the sales floor completely ignored me when I asked for help. When I went to the customer service desk, the employee(Isaiah) had no idea how to process the order, apply the discounts, or even handle the price match. I literally had to tell the employee how to do their own job just to get the correct price.
This entire experience was incredibly frustrating, time-consuming, and unprofessional. For a company of this size, the lack of training, accountability, and basic customer service at this location is honestly shocking.
The only bright spot in this whole experience was Larry from the mobile department. He was knowledgeable, professional, and actually took the time to explain things properly. He seemed to be one of the very few employees who truly knew what he was doing, and I appreciate his help.
Unfortunately, one competent employee does not make up for the overall incompetence, lack of accountability, and poor customer service that I experienced at this store. I would strongly recommend management (Matthew) take a serious look at training and customer service standards here, because right now this location is failing its customers.
