    Greek Squak Extremely disappointed with the service here. I paid over $600 for a motherboard replacement to fix a screen freezing issue. I didn’t use the laptop for a few months as I didn't have school assignments, but when I turned it on to start a project, it exhibited the exact same freezing issue as before. When I brought it back, they hid behind a 3-month warranty policy and claimed I now need another motherboard because the RAM is "cooked," quoting me an additional $400+. It’s clear the original issue was never actually diagnosed or fixed. They are happy to take your money but won't stand behind their work. Save your money and go to a technician who actually knows how to troubleshoot. I opened the casing and found that the motherboard currently in the unit has a manufacturing date of July 2020. I was charged $600 for a 'new' motherboard in late 2025. It is highly suspect that a 'new' repair part is 5+ years old and failing with the exact same symptoms as the original. This suggests either a used part was used without disclosure, or the original board was never actually replaced.

    We have been at best buy a couple of times and has received a great customer service. Bahareh was amazing in her job and we loved that we were being helped by such a knowledgeable associate.

    I waited several minutes in what reasonably appeared to be the checkout line. Another customer queued behind me, which confirmed it wasn’t obvious that the line was “on the other side.” Only after multiple people arrived and were allowed ahead of me did a staff member tell me I was in the wrong place, without any apology or acknowledgement that the setup was unclear. The interaction afterward felt rushed and dismissive, and my receipt was literally tossed at me rather than handed over. Clear signage and basic courtesy would have prevented this entirely.

    So as someone who works in the inventory and logistics industry I am knowledgeable in how things are ordered , shipped and received. Saying this to add context to my review. December 22 2025 I go online to purchase a TV and Best Buy CLEARLY shows none in stock BUT , AVAILABLE TO SHIP 9. When ever my customers order from me I absolutely know what available means . It means in one of the branches in our inventory network across Canada there is actual touchable inventory to sell. If it shows 9 of something and then it doesn't actually exist with the first order we are on it to see why 9 are listed as available and yet we don't have it. Its called smart efficient inventory management. It costly over head if it is sitting there plus even worse if it shows there but isn't, hence why proper inventory control is done. Apparently this is not how Best Buy works from my terrible experience with my current purchase. So firstly I order the TV , have to go to the store to show ID to get approved for the 18 month financing deal. Ok, no big deal so I go there and its done. So i go back online and place the $3800 dollar order . 24 hours later it shows completed BUT those 9 TVs that showed available to ship will NOW suddenly take up to 3 months to arrive. End of March 2026 was my estimated earliest shipping date. I call to ask why Best Buy showed 9 available to ship but yet it takes 3 months to get it . Staff tells me it shows there is no stock anywhere. Again Best Buy you showed NINE IN STOCK TO SHIP. Add to that they went ahead and marked my order as "shipped" but no tracking number then billed me on my account for a TV they cant even guarantee me they will be able to delivery at all because the second staff i talked to said it shows it may not even been made yet via TCL and more. So now I lost 3 months off my 18 months no payments no interest plan PLUS 3 months off the 2 year protection plan i also paid extra for. At this point I am just lost for words on how amateurish and poorly Best Buy is handling this purchase. If you did not have stock don't list it as a lie just so you can sell it , mark it as shipped then bill it while making the customer wait 3 months on a 50 50 chance they MIGHT get their TV. I have seen how business will input items they did not ship as sold to amp up their month end bottom line. Look we sold 10 TVs in the system pending . So seeing that I got billed for a TV yet to be really shipped is questionable for sure. BestBuy I know you will reply with your generic we strive to keep our store well stocked and we love to have the chance to serve you better and all that automatic BS but I am going to sit on this order just to genuinely see how long it takes you to get this TV because that's going to speak louder then any of your generic replies on how much you actually want to make this terrible experience better. Your move Best Buy. I will update this reviews as time progresses Update Jan 18th 2026 , I cancelled my order. shortly after part one of this review because my experince got worse. Keeping a close eye on my order and Best Buy stock I noticed a store only 2 hrs away showed one TV in stock on Monday Jan 12th . So I call said store and ask " Do you actually have this sku number in stock ? Please take a moment to go check and verify 100 percent you have it thanks". They came back and ASSURED me it is IN STOCK. I then proceeded to ask them since i have been billed for one and it still shows March 19th eta is that one there committed to another order ? They said no. I asked , can you ship that one down to me then instead of me waiting till March ? Again i get crap customer service on top of the crap service i already had . They said they cant ship large items like that and were unable to send it to me. Oh but I could drive up to get it if i wanted to. Really ?? OK I had enough. Called the related Best Buy number and cancelled my order . I was done with the incompetence ,extremely poor service and policies and went some where else to buy the TV . Never again will i deal with Best Buy . Buyers beware !
