Ordered a computer (HP Laptop) on line for pick up in the store and picked it up Thursday at 10:00 AM (01/01/26), took it home and it failed to boot up and upload. Took it back to the store and geek dude gave me a new one in the box. Took it home and did the same thing after 5 hours of fustration. Took it back and got a full refund Friday morning told them it was the second one that failed and I just want my money back. That was no problem.
You would think as hard as they try to sell extended service plans and all that other crap someone would have contacted me and said - "Hey what can I do to help?" - Nothing and it was a $1300 HP Omni Laptop. Ordered a new computer off the Dell website today and will bypass Best Buy in the future.

I tried building my pc for the first time this christmas. I ordered all my new parts from best buy, which had the best deals on everything I wanted. Like anyone doing something for the first time, I failed and the pc wouldn't turn on. So as any rational minded individual would do, I went somewhere to see a professional who could diagnose and repair my problem. Geek squad told me the best thing to do is buy a best buy membership so that any time I have an issue with my pc, I should take it to them. Thats $180 a year, along with a service charge for $200 upfront when I brought my pc in. I left it there for the day so they could work their magic. Later on they emailed me saying my device was ready for pickup. I show up the next day for them to tell me that my pc won't turn on and they won't fix it.
In other words, I spent $400 for trained professionals to tell me what I already knew and they wouldn't do anything about it. Thanks geek squad.

If you’re looking for a remote start, DO NOT COME HERE. in the last year i’ve bought two remote starts from best buy, the first time was for my 2011 jetta and the employee sold me something he said would work for my car and the day before my appointment the technician told me i was sold an alarm kit and they don’t have any remote starts that’d work for my car. fast forward to now i’ve boughten a new truck and i knew best buy had good deals so i came there hoping they’d be able to make up for last time, and then the day of my appointment after i drop off my truck the technician called me saying since i didn keys for the truck, I couldn’t get one installed.
Best Buy will not even check simple things when you spend $300-$400 to make sure you’re not wasting time and money on them, and if that’s the case, it seriously should make us question the quality of the work they do on our vehicles.

Went into the store to look at laptops looked around for about 10 minutes and no one came to help me out. I went to the service desk and asked them for assistance then went to the bathroom. I came out and waited for another 10 minutes and still no one came over. I chose to leave and go somewhere else to purchase my laptop. On my way out the greeter was like did you find everything you were looking for. I answered no I asked for two associates to help me with a laptop and not a single person came to help me. He made a snide remark and said well you didn’t ask me now did you? I Was like why should I have to ask you? I’ve asked people at the service desk. No one came to help me And obviously you guys do not wish to make any money today by selling me a laptop. Then he was like well with that attitude go ahead and go. I will never buy there again.
