My son was gifted a download game for Playstation but the purchaser mistakenly ordered the PC version. Contacted live agent chats which said an exchange could be performed multiple times but directed me to call customer service. Contacted multiple times and refused to exchange the activation code for a PlayStation code even though we haven’t used the PC code. Last call ended with customer service saying my son can gift his gifted code to someone else and be left without the gift at all. Miserable experience with customer service and disappointing to get conflicting promises by chat and phone. Seems like a simple ask and customer experience was challenging to work with! Will avoid Best Buy for game purchases in the future.

Bought a new computer and was told by sales rep that data transfer from old computer would be free. Geek squad member tried to sell me a membership for $180, and when I declined, stating I just wanted the transfer, I was informed it would be $200+. I then stated I didn't want the computer, and was told I had to take it and wait at least an hour to return it, to give the system time to process...????
So, when I took it back to return and get a refund, the new sales rep tried to talk me into keeping the computer and buying the membership. I did get my refund, but what an overall NEGATIVE experience.

Joe is the man. I came in for a delayed pickup order and asked 4 other employees before him for help. All of them gave me poor attitudes and said that I was out of luck.
When I approached Joe, he was on top of it. He took care of me and worked through the entire process with patience. In less than 15 I was on the way with my products and I couldn’t be more thankful for him.
Dude deserves a raise!!
