After getting back home, I found that the employee had given me the incorrect screen protector. They had given me a protector for the regular 17 Pro. There are no model#’s on the box. I contacted Apple support immediately, and they stated that since I purchased it from an Apple Store that I would need to return/exchange it at that store. So through no fault of my own, other than the fact that I should have done the employee’s job for them, I have to either burn $20 worth of gas for a $39.95 refund or eat the $40.
- ATAldersgate TrusteeSep 30, 20252.0Apple SUCKS!!! Let me start by saying the folks at the store were fine but limited by corporate. My issue is with Apple overall. I purchased an IPad Air in April 2024. In November 2024 it stopped charging. I contacted Apple and they replaced it. In October 2025, the replacement stopped working. I went to the Apple store and was told it was probably the controller and since it was the second one in 1.5 years I should contact Apple support to see if they would work with me. I contacted Apple support and had the Misfortune to speak with Keenan who, according to Keenan, is the top of the management chain in customer support, he apparently answers to noone. Keenan then graciously explained to me that Apple had replaced the Ipad Air once as a courtesy (I thought under warranty?) and it was now out of warranty per the original purchase date. Regardless, they only replace the product once. Keenan went on to explain that the products are very good. When I asked how he accounted for 2 bad Ipad Airs in 1.5 years that both stopped charging, he said, sometimes you get a bad one and that's why they replaced it. He couldn't assure me via the record it it was replaced with a repaired one or a new one but felt it could only be a new one as Apple is such a great company. Word to the wise, Beware of Apple products and get an extended warranty because they will only replace the first bad one. Good luck on your future purchases if you decide to buy.
