When I called in and visited the store, I was told I qualified for a certain trade-in promotion and placed an order based on that information. However, when I came back to pick up my phone, I was suddenly told that the promotion will not work for my anymore, and that it was too late to fix anything. On top of that, I learned that as an authorized Verizon retailer, Russell Cellular doesn’t actually have much control over Verizon’s systems, which makes things even more complicated and limiting compared to going through Verizon directly.
