    I have been a loyal Verizon customer for more than 10 years and have always been happy with the service. However, the Verizon store on N. Kansas Expressway in Springfield, Missouri, has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Due to an unexpected situation, I purchased a new phone and service at this location. Once I reactivated my original phone, I returned the new device. I was told they would contact me once the refund could be processed. No one followed up. I spent weeks contacting the store myself. Every time I received shifting answers. After nearly three and a half months, still no refund. Only after contacting Verizon directly was an online agent finally able to submit the refund request. Throughout the process, contacting the store was consistently unhelpful and did not bring me any closer to a resolution. After reading similar negative reviews of this store, I now understand why so many customers are frustrated. This location does not reflect the professionalism expected from Verizon. I strongly recommend avoiding this store.     Came in close to close to pick up a new phone I upgraded to after the Verizon call center said it could be. When I arrived he said it was pending nothing he could do and offered nothing but maybe tomorrow. Terrible customer service and honestly sad I chose this store. Also Verizon ad a whole closing at 7pm on a Friday is ridiculous. I will unfortunately have to come back tomorrow and deal with this crap to get my phone and hopefully never have to speak to a Verizon rep again for as long as possible

    I took my 16 year old grandson in May so HE could open his account ( I'm HAPPILY with Metro) and he got a phone and internet for about $165 per month. I thought it was too high but he was working at Walmart and paying with HIS pay. The account was in my name. He had to quit Walmart after school started and had gone in to cancel his account a couple weeks ago. They told him I would have to come into Verizon and bring my driver's license in order to close the account. He couldn't turn in his box there until I went up there. I went in last Friday and spent about 30 minutes there while they tried to figure everything out 😂😆 They finally got the account fixed so my grandson could return the box and said "All he has to do is bring it in" and I don't need to be there for him to return it. I took him there yesterday AND didn't go in with him. He was there about 15 minutes before he came out and told me that "There's a problem and he needed my phone to retrieve messages from Verizon". I went inside and the guy there was trying to say that it WASN'T the same box that they issued him 😡 It took another 10 minutes for them to get it straightened out 😡 THEN I GOT TOLD THAT I COULDN'T RETURN THE BOX TO VERIZON 😡 AND WOULD HAVE TO TAKE IT TO THE UPS STORE 😡 Even tho the people are really nice there, they don't seem to know what's going on and cause LOTS of confusion AND waste alot of customers time. It seems to take the whole group to huddle together to get anything figured out. I'm SOOOOO glad that I have Metro and I will NEVER have to deal with them again. I'm writing this review in hopes that others don't go there and pay their outrageous prices ONLY to get customer service that involves the whole team and wastes customers time.
