Just awful! Amazingly awful. Second time in to deal with phone issues and the wait was over an hour with an appointment. What limited staff they have presented entitled and easily annoyed. They lacked communication skills and social etiquette. This is not the Apple of a few years ago. DEI has taken hold of this store and is crashing hard.

Do NOT trust them if they say they’re going to wipe your cell or iPad clean to fix anything and then download everything back to your cell from the icloud like it was.
Do NOT trust them if they say they need to clean/wipe/fix your phone or any language or terms they use and then will re-reinstate it back to where it was before.
Do NOT factory wipe your cell & think all will go well and fine. It will NOT.
Maybe one time, but do not trust it a second.
It’s NEVER how they claim & it is nightmare when they tell you they CANT get your data and apps and your texts back.
It is NOT how it was before and then the customer is screwed. !!
I had a really disappointing experience with Tim, a manager at Apple. His attitude came across as rude and dismissive, and it felt like he had no interest in actually helping resolve my issue. To start, we told him we needed help with an iCloud issue, and he immediately responded, “we do hardware only,” making it seem like they couldn’t assist us at all—which is completely untrue. The next time I approached him I was asking to speak to someone for basic help with signing into my iCloud and was told “there is really no reason you would need help with any of that” and I was told to stand to the side while he spoke to the next customer in line. For a company known for customer service, this interaction was far below expectations.

One star for the manager, Tim, who checked us into west county center. Least helpful person in the entire place ! But five stars for the two incredible young men, Benny and Sage, who were attentive and solved the problem we had with our iCloud family account. Tim needs to be in the back, away from Customers, please! He actually told us when we tried to check in that they couldn’t help Us since our issue was not a hardware issue. Well, Benny and Sage’s expertise proved ya wrong! Big shout out to Benny & Sage!! Thank You!
I’m sharing this as constructive feedback because the experience felt very out of character for what people typically expect from an Apple Store.
I stood in the middle of the store for approximately 30 minutes with a line forming behind me, and during that time no one acknowledged us or explained what the process was for receiving assistance. There was no greeting, no check-in, and no direction about where customers should go or how the queue was being managed.
I ended up speaking with the customers behind me, and they were just as confused about what to do, where to go, or who to speak with. They mentioned they were simply trying to purchase a pair of AirPods, while I was just there to pick up an online order. None of us were sure if we were in the right place or waiting in the correct way because no one had acknowledged the line or provided any direction.
Eventually an employee asked if I had been helped. When I explained that I had been waiting for about half an hour, several employees immediately came over. That response suggested the issue wasn’t necessarily staffing, but rather a breakdown in floor awareness and queue management.
What made the situation more uncomfortable was overhearing an employee respond to another customer in a somewhat condescending tone, saying something along the lines of “it’s not like we’re just standing around doing nothing, everyone’s busy.” I completely understand that retail environments get busy — I work in retail myself — but when customers have been waiting that long without acknowledgment, comments like that can come across as dismissive.
A simple greeting, explanation of the check-in process, or someone managing the queue would have prevented most of the confusion and frustration.
I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that it helps improve the customer experience, because the Apple Store is typically known for a much higher standard of service.
