  So I call the geek squad to get the computer fixed and they tell me I’ll need to bring it in for help .Ok no harm no foul. Last of the phone states the diagnostic is free so I schedule a appointment and drive 2 hours to get the pc fixed. I show up and have to wait a hour and a half. Also not a big deal. When I get there it’s 100 bucks for the “free” diagnosis . He states the free diagnosis the lady told me about was just him looking at the computer externally . Obviously that’s the biggest mislead I’ve ever heard. From there on out I’m informed it will be a week minimum before they can do anything even touch it and start the process of fixing it. It was a 200 dollar deal to fix something most likely very minor and if they couldn’t fix it I’d be waiting 2 plus months and would not get a refund if I decided to just get my computer back on the spot. Long story short take your money elsewhere these people will take you money waste your time and you’ll still be screwed . Find a good local pc guy and get the same job done in a fraction of the time for a fraction of the cost .

  They pretty much screwed up my mothers old PC, they installed a new motherboard which failed within one month, which should not have happened. There was lots wrong with the PC and I wouldve thought they would have been able to understand that but I guess not. Had I have been able to understand computers at the time, I probably couldve helped her fix it, but sadly that wasnt the case at the time.
