Hopefully there's another Verizon store nearby that offers actual customer service. Been a customer for many years and this may be the time to move on.

When he switched over, there was a promotion to pay off his new phone to get a free upgraded iPhone 16. The employee originally made it seem like they would handle paying off the original phone. A month later the payment for the original phone came out of our account, so it wasn’t paid off. We go into the store and they can’t do anything. Talked to customer service they tell us 6 weeks to get a gift card to pay off this phone. The employee NEVER explained this to us. So now we’re paying for a phone that should be paid off. Another 6 weeks go by we never get the gift card, go into the store again and they can’t do anything but give us a credit. Another employee gave us his number to contact to get a credit to our account for what we’ve had to pay. When I texted, the employee never responded. We are currently on the phone AGAIN with Verizon customer service to get this figured out. Train your employees better.
