- HLHeather LoveMay 7, 20251.0I went into the store on monday, to add a line to my account for my fiance. The representative who was working, I did not get his name, was extremely shifty and trying to charge me $192 to add a line with a free phone. I already have four lines of service, and I know that the price I was quoted was outrageous. He offered to contact his manager to see if I could get a better deal, and after texting someone for several minutes he offered me the new line with a free phone for $128. He claims that I would have to pay for 2 months of service in advance as well as activation and cricket protect, which he claimed was automatically included. I'm 43 years old and I'm not stupid. I was highly insulted by this obvious bait and switch scam he was running. When I told him never mind, I'll just do it online, he followed me out of the store begging me to reconsider. I will be getting the district manager and corporate involved. If I could give zero Stars, I would.
