  Centercare Urgent Care was one of the worst experiences I’ve had when seeking medical care for my child. I brought my 9-month-old child in for vomiting and a fever of 100.4°F before giving Tylenol at home, ongoing for two days. When we arrived, the nurse recorded my child’s temperature as 98.7°F, and this seemed to be used to dismiss my concerns. We were seen by Ethan G. Novacinski. Although he ordered tests for strep, influenza, and RSV, he did not allow us to wait for the results and stated that even if the tests came back positive, “there is nothing I can give.” Despite my child being dehydrated from two days of vomiting and fever, no further evaluation or treatment was offered. I was told that home thermometers are “not always accurate,” that Tylenol given at noon would not lower a fever by four degrees, and was advised to simply push fluids and continue Tylenol because it “might be a virus.” No supportive care, monitoring, or clear plan was provided. I did not wait for hours and pay for an urgent care visit just to be told basic advice that every parent already knows—especially for a 9-month-old infant. The lack of concern, explanation, and follow-through made me feel dismissed and judged rather than supported. This visit felt like a waste of time and money. I would not recommend this location, especially if your child is sick and you expect thorough and attentive care.

  Wait time was reasonable, staff was very friendly and empathetic. Helped with my issue and clearly explained everything.

  Went there at the end of the night to avoid a er visit. Got in and the doctor never did a thing looked at me said you need to go to ER. Got to the ER and when checking in she said its common for them to do this cause they dont want to look at anyone! Guess what I still had to pay a urgent care visit for nothing he didnt do a damn thing! centra care sucks they are worthless!!!

  I want to start out by saying that the service was wonderful. The Dr. Had a great bedside manner, everyone was friendly and kind and nothing took very long. Also the facility was very clean and up to date. I just want to share the financial experience because I feel a little taken advantage of. I do bot have health insurance and I work part time due to some burnout and mental health concern. When I arrived at the clinic I was concerned about the cost and asked the receptionist what the cost of the exam is. She could not tell me upfront and said that I would be billed later. I was feeling so ill that I decided to stay. I received some simple diagnostics and the Dr quickly was able to diagnose shingles. I received some perceptions and was grateful that they were affordable and under $100. I left a glowing review for the Dr, staff and facility and then I received the bill. I was billed $372. For me that is a lot of money an roughly 14hrs of work to pay for. I could not afford this clinic and if they would have been open and honest about there prices I would have opted to go to a different place. I'm sorry to leave this review but I think people in my position deserve fair warning. Thank you. For those that can afford this it is a great place to go.

  I took my special needs son who has a lot of health issues into the urgent care to be treated so we wouldn't be in the hospital. Did nothing, common cold, I explained it was more than that. Two days later in the ER. ER doctor told me to bring him to the ER when sick. They don't know how to treat a patient like him. Absolutely wonderful service given to him at St Cloud Centra Care Hospital!
