- DSDave SpartanSep 25, 20253.0I made the mistake and missed out on an appointment for 9/24/2025 for a pulmonary function test. This was because I didn’t take immediate action when I noticed the appointment in the visits tab in Mychart and thought it was for something else. Originally, I had a message sent out to me on July 11th of 2025 about the pre-test before the consultation; however, I didn’t get any further reminders of this test, and any that I did receive couldn’t be sent to me because my phone was out of minutes at the time. The closest I had to a reminder was a letter sent on 7/25/2025, but that didn’t include the time for the pre-test, so I was pretty much out of the loop on that until it was too late. But I take full responsibility for not keeping a note of that message, so the blame isn’t solely on the clinic; however, I wish they’d send an email days before the appointment as opposed to a text message, or they could have included the time and date for the pre-test along with the consultation on the letter provided.
