  I've gone to this Apple store twice in the past two weeks and had pleasant experiences both times. Really enjoy the employees and their quick service with my online order pick-ups.

  I recently visited the Apple Store at Ridgedale and left very disappointed with the level of customer service. I had a scheduled appointment at 11:20 a.m., expecting to be seen within a reasonable timeframe. However, after waiting forty minutes, an employee finally acknowledged me only to say, “Well, it’s another person ahead of you.” This raises a simple question: what is the purpose of having an appointment if it isn’t respected? During the entire time I waited, I observed several employees on the floor who seemed more focused on sales than on assisting customers with existing appointments. There was little communication, no updates, and no sense of urgency to help those who had already booked time in advance. The experience felt disorganized and dismissive, and unfortunately reflected very poorly on the store’s customer service standards. I expect more professionalism and respect for customers’ time from a brand that positions itself as service-focused.

  Andre attempted to get me a trade in value for my phone and wasted 20 minutes of my time. Was told I’d get $230, he went through all the steps, and then at the end told me it would be $80 because of a crack. That’s somewhat understandable, but my god my time was wasted.

  I’ve been a loyal Apple customer for years, but my experience at the Ridgedale store was beyond frustrating. I went in ready to purchase new equipment, specifically planning to use the financing options they advertise so heavily. Instead, I walked out empty-handed and furious due to the absolute mess that is their partnership with Goldman Sachs. Save yourself the headache. Until Apple fixes their payment backend and stops these bait-and-switch sales tactics, I wouldn’t trust them with a financing agreement.
