    I was just in the Verizon store on Madison Ave in Mankato. and was treated so poorly. I walked in and the guy that greeted me was immediately annoyed. I let him know that i needed to turn in a phone to get the rebate. He asked me for the phone number, I said the one for the phone you are holding? His response was, well are you even on the account? I said yes and gave him my phone number. The phone I brought in was dead, my fault, but when he realized this he said, Well this is dead...and turned around, shook his head in annoyance the entire time he was walking away from me without another word. I cannot believe someone in customer service would treat someone like this right off the bat, before we even really exchanged a conversation. I patiently waited for the phone to charge and he eventually came back and was again annoyed that there was a face ID needed from my son...again I didn't realize that was even on his phone. He again got up and just walked away from me. I have never been treated like such an inconvenience. Additionally I have never posted a review, especially a poor one, but I was so taken back that I felt the need to share my experience. I know everyone has a bad day sometimes but that most definitely does not give you the right to treat people with such disrespect.

    Customer service is terrible. Made an appointment at 4 pm and got here early and they didn’t come to us until 4:10

    Asked some basic questions abt bills to help my mom understand how her bill works and the guy couldn’t even answer it. He kept hinting to us that he didn’t wanna help us out and kept leaning back. Was acting like he was tired of us or something when we asked just one question. Mind you there wasn’t many people either, so no reason to rush. Truly a waste of time especially when we drove two hours. The workers name was Gabriel. Didn’t even seem like he knew that much about his job to be honest. Pretty bad service.

    UPDATE: I spoke with Verizon customer support asking “any update?” as you can see on the comment below, Verizon asked me to click on a link that’ll escalate the issue. So I filled out my info. Well I’m still waiting to hear back. Can’t say I’m surprised and I really don’t appreciate the “offer” to help, but you’re only attempting to delay me until the 30 days is up where i can’t return my phone. I’ll be there this week to return my phone. Do NOT stay with Verizon. Original: I received my new iPhone 17 yesterday, and the camera is malfunctioning. I call customer service and they inform me I can go to the store and get a replacement due to being so new. Or I had the option to ship it, and pay the sales tax. I would receive it by Tuesday, September 23rd. I go to the store, as it’s nearby, inform them what customer service told me and showed the employee the camera issue. The employee leaves to discuss with the manager, comes back and said “No, we don’t have any phones to replace it. We can get you one shipped OCTOBER 17th.” Today is September 20th, keep in mind. Two customers are in the store as I’m told this, and another employee brought two colors of the same iPhone 17 to them. Because of this, I will be returning the phone and will be canceling my service after 16 years. If you want a resolution to your issue, do not go to this store. Go to any other store, Best Buy is 3 blocks away.
