  They let me schedule a repair appointment for my Samsung phone only to tell me when I got there that they only repair Apple products. I don't live in town, I wasted a significant amount of time and gas only to be told that they scheduled me for a service that they couldn't even do.

  I decided to test my luck with an walk in appointment at the Duluth Geek Squad location. Brandon Napoi was on his lunch break but cut it short to help me troubleshoot an internet connectivity problem I was having on my Microsoft Surface. Brandon was so nice and friendly. I told him I did all the steps online recommended. He wanted to try them just incase and when he ran into the same issue he took a different approach and changed the GHz to include 2.4 band and it my computer connected to the hotspot finally! I cannot thank Brandon enough for his time and friendly service!

  Made me get a warranty I didn’t need which was $180. Asked if wanted to cover with another didn’t describe it. Then told me doesn’t cover the repair and it would be +800. For something someone can do for a quarter of the price. Then when I wanted my laptop back they took 30 minutes to give it back. This place is a scam go somewhere else just trying to upsell warranties.

  Pretty rough experiences with buying laptops and then needing services from Geeksquad at this location. There seems to always be some kind of software issue. Thank god that I buy the top BestBuy protection plan because I don't know how people do it... I've had to go to geeksquad to get my laptop serviced three times in the last two months and as soon as I get my computer back something else pops up. When you call Geeksquad on the phone they will tell you one thing and schedule you an appointment, but when you go in store they will say "well I didn't hear that, and I can't see the future.." Questions will be deemed as argumentative so you can't ask any questions or raise any concerns at all. I would advise people to just get the warranty their computer servicer provides. You're going to end up with a working computer that way. I Wish that is what I had done.
