  Pretty good, but not my favorite. Other VCA locations present me with an itemized invoice for my approval prior to performing services and they did not do that when I went here which I found really odd. I don’t know if this is a more lucrative area, but what if I couldn’t afford those services? We also had to take our vet to the emergency room the night after she was seen at this location because they weren’t thorough enough, sent her home without pain management, and didn’t perform x rays to check if her urethra was blocked(spoiler, it was) and we needed to get her emergency surgery. The communication isn’t all that great either. The staff and doctor were kind enough, I’d say this place is probably good for routine issues(vaccines, check ups) but if you have larger concerns I don’t know if this is the best place.

  I have been using this clinic since I moved to the area 8 years ago. These are some of the most kind and caring people ive personally met. The women at the front desk are always very pleasant to speak to and the doctors and techs all do a great job and show a high level of care. I have a lab that is VERY scared of the vet and he hides under my chair when we visit, but he warms up to the doctors very quickly and they are very gentle with him which is obviously very appreciated. Id highly recommend using this clinic.

  Love this vet. Used to be privately owned. Taken all my 7 Terriers here. Great staff

  My baby, an 8 year red golden retriever, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2026. From the moment brought him in that day, the staff and his doctor were AMAZING. Then it came time to make a very difficult decision and again, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my dog and I, were lovingly taken care of, comfortable and had as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. VCA’s stellar kindness stepped in again when I received a sympathy card, signed with a note from all the staff. Two weeks later, I stopped by to pick up his ashes and they took the time to ask how everyone was healing. 🥰 I couldn’t have asked or wanted more than they provided. I highly recommend VCA in Chanhassen. They understand pets and their owners. . ❤️🐶

  I really like this vet office, the staff have always been very kind, and they are also very affordable compared to most vets and up front about costs. I love how they usually offer a new patient discount as well, it has made it so that I was even able to get my kitty care, as I wouldn't have had enough for such an unexpected expense otherwise, so thank you.
