On 10/30/2025 multiple publications have a story that US government wants to ban TP link routers because of possible hacking. Since this happened after 14 day return window, I wanted to contact someone from best buy about this. Chatted with someone on chat line and they said to talk with a manager about a possible exchange. They would not do it unless I became a + member for $50 per year. Spent the $50 and returned the TP link router and then cancelled my best buy+ membership. I Will never step foot or buy anything from best buy ever again. Many other places to buy what they sell. Read the story about TP link routers and you make the call if you want to be possibly hacked.
- SRSoren ROct 14, 20251.0If you are looking for SodaStream exchange, don’t use this one. The two times I’ve attempted it, most of the employees don’t know what it is or how to do it. That’s fine, I’m okay with being patient and figuring it out together! The first time it took a long time but we were successful. Today the employee helping me also didn’t know how to do it, asked another employee for help, and that person wanted to charge me the full new bottle price. The entire point of the exchange program is to swap bottles for a discounted price, but she insisted on talking down to me and saying there was no discount. I’m not interested in being treated poorly by a person who is so adamant on being wrong and not knowing how the service works.
