We moved to the area recently and needed a new vet, I picked VCA because of the flexible appointments and your first exam is free.
The vet tech and Dr Melisa Yu were WONDERFUL! I’ve been to a lot of vets in my day and I will tell you, these girls are 10 out of 10! Dr Yu could even read the old vets nots in Spanish.

I absolutely love this place. We have two doggies that we bring in. One who is a bit skiddish when it comes to being looked at, and touched. They do her exams in the room with me, we use the muzzle only during this time. They allow my dog to be comfortable while still keeping everyone safe. While also not over using equipment and meds when it's not needed. They also plan her visits in a logical way in order to only need the muzzle on for a short period of time.
The other doggo is more laid back and doesn't need the same attention. They are equally as friendly and kind to her. We absolutely love that the team always works with us with what ever needs to be done, and keeps everyone safe and happy to come back.

I would like to start out with this clinic was the best when Dr. Stephen Mitchell ran it!!
My parents bought their dogs to this clinic for years, my in laws brought their dogs and cats to this clinic as well. I have been bringing my dogs there for 20 plus years.
Now this clinic has gone downhill BIG time!!
They don’t care for the pets here (Stacy & Glenda do though) 😊
All these Doctors care about is feeding the animals antibiotics week after week!! Don’t find out the problems…. let’s just keep band-aiding it!! $$$$
This past July I brought in one of my dogs in, he had a fever of 105…they gave him a dose of antibiotics and drew blood. I got the call back from the doctor a few days after they said they sent his lab out to a pathologist, ( but did they really) and they said his white blood cell count was so low even for someone on chemo. ☹
Brought him back in after the meds were done. They drew more blood and supposably they were going to send it out again, I don’t feel they did.
They wanted to give him another dose of antibiotics. He was feeling better and acting like himself. So, I said not to the other dose.
The doctor told me she did have one couple that had a dog with the same problem my Heschel had with low blood count. I asked what happened and what the cause was from.
She stood in the doorway with the door wide open with her vet tech along with all the other workers in the back room. “I think the couple got sick of feeding the dog antibiotics, so they never came back…but I’m pretty sure the dogs is still alive”
I was done after that day!!
We have a new vet that we love all the staff, and I know they love and care about my dogs! 😊
ChafinVet is the name if anyone is looking for a new Clinic
I recently received at text say one of my other dog's is due for a vaccination.
I replied back "sorry I have found a new clinic".
This is what I got back...
That is completely alright! We'll update our side so you shouldn't get reminders in the future! As well, I know the doctor was recommending one last recheck of Herschel's CBC to ensure he is doing alright if you haven't just yet. Otherwise, if you have anything else for us just let us know!
Than my comment back....
Thank you.
You people don't even care that I've been coming there for over 20 plus years.
All of a sudden I leave your clinic.
Really shows you care about your customers and their pets 😭😭.

We have been going to VCA Cedar View for ~5 years and could not be happier! Dr. Yu and all the staff are SO friendly and SO helpful with both of our dogs needs. It’s very clear that everyone here adores animals and truly wants what’s best for them.

I normally don’t write google reviews, but I just had to share how absolutely awesome this vet clinic is. Shoutout to Dr. A who has always taken the time to answer our questions and give us recommendations on how to best help our furry family members. Am really lucky to have found this clinic!
