I have never been to a phone store where the employees we're more incompetent. I've been with Metro PCS for over 10 years and everytime I have a problem or need to upgrade, it's a streamlined process that takes under 30 minutes. This place, with a bunch of very young adults (kids) running it, is a joke. I had a two day experience there. I wanted to try a different carrier because Metro has been a little wonky recently, not horrible but wonky, so I go there the first to get the 4 phones for $100 with a new customer. It was around 2pm on the 26th of June. To cut it short I waited over an hour while the one employee couldn't handle billing a different customer, bad enough but. The second day (again another hour+) was a bigger joke, the dude I presumed to be manager, gives me this sphile about how you have to get the insurance because the phones are so expensive, and, I swear to God, another customer who's daughter lost their phone needs a replacement and the "clerk" says to the guy even with insurance it's a $200 deductible to replace the phone. Who ever owns the place, thank you for hiring a manager who convinced me that Metro was so much better. You keep that overpriced garbage Verizon, I'd rather buy a $150 dollar phone, break it and pay $150 for an upgraded version than pay for an insurance policy that does diddly squat.

This review is partially for the store and partially the overall company.
My husband and I went to Italy in 2023 with our pixel 3As which we liked. We came back and our phones no longer worked and three tiers of Verizon customer service could not fix it. Finally, a Verizon store employee offered us the pixel 7 without telling us it was a new contract offer. We thought it was Verizon fixing the problem. It was not our fault that our phones no longer worked. It was actually a $700 credit that we could have used to choose which phone we wanted to upgrade to and a contract for another 3 years. We hate our pixel 7s. My husband switched to Xfinity in August 2025 since we have been having ongoing issues with Verizon in other ways too, and found a better deal. We then got a $220 buyout fee on our account. We called when we found out about this and the customer service person said he would refund this for us because of all of our issues. Well, it never applied and there are *conveniently* no notes about our conversation and now customer service is telling us they will not refund it. Now I've wasted another 45 minutes on something that should have been resolved last time I had to waste time calling them. Verizon is absolutely ridiculous and lies continually. They have tricked my mom into changing plans multiple times for what seems like a better deal but then actually does not include all of the things they told her it would, or getting fees for things they said were the same as the old plan.
