Felt like a walking dollar sign. We took in a stray cat and needed to get her in someplace fast to be sure she didn’t have worms or fleas. They gave me a next day appointment when other places were weeks out so I was so grateful. Close to $400 dollars later and I was told she “probably has fleas” although there’s no fleas on her but we would need to bring in a fecal sample to be sure. We asked for a dewormer and were told they’d send us home with one. Got home and realized we didn’t have one. I just felt like they wanted to pile on as many tests as possible without just focusing on the basics. I do believe they’re way over priced compared to other clinics. The front office staff are very friendly.

Just got charged $200+ PER SHOT to get my dogs vaccinated here. After some research - making sure my sticker shock is justified, average cost for the vaccines we they received are between $20 and $60 per. Never again.

I typically don't write reviews, but our experience with VCA was horrible. We have never used them before and won't again. We took our cat in due to some vomiting and not acting herself. We thought maybe she had worms or something small. They basically bullied my husband into their "gold standard of care", which consists of them completing a ton of tests to tell us our cat had a stomachache. They charged us $900. I then had to call and demand money back. I spoke with the vet first who was terrible. When I spoke with the office manager, she attempted to remedy the situation by giving us a small portion of money back ($272). This place is one of those vets who bully the crap out of you and guilt you into a bunch of things that aren't needed. Lesson learned to never return.

People are nice, way overcharged. I discovered I can take my pup to tractor supply, get a lot more services for 1/3 of the cost for the basics here. They may be good for emergencies if you can afford them.
