I’m very upset. The manger was talking to another employee while I stood there. Didn’t say a word to me after I said excuse me. I asked another employee for help and when he asked the manager, the manager gave him an answer without even looking at me. I’ll be buying my Mac book and meta glasses somewhere else. Best Buy lost a customer. It’s sad.

This establishment is the worst place I’ve ever entered. The employees immediately bombard you the moment you walk in, in the most irritating way. They then follow you throughout the store, repeatedly asking if you need help even after repeatedly saying no. Not to mention, I went to the camera section and, after standing there looking at them for not even a minute, a manager comes up and tells an employee that I’m buying a camera even though I never said that whatsoever and then trying to peer pressure me into purchasing a $2k camera. These people suck and are desperate for you to buy stuff, they scare away so many customers.

I got superior service at the Okemos Best Buy on Grand River Ave when I went to upgrade my cellphone to a new Pixel 10 Pro XL. At the Verizon desk, both Josh and Leilani were knowledgeable about phone upgrade options, talked me through trade-in plans, answered questions about dual SIM use while traveling overseas, and figured out ways I could lower my monthly bill a bit, too, by adjusting my family plan. When the phone arrived, Greg at the Geek Squad desk was extra patient and polite with my queries, and got the main data transfer done even though my allotted time was running out. Special kudos to Leilani, as she followed up with some phone-specific advice that was invaluable - she went above and beyond to figure out how to retrieve voicemails that were important to me, she worked out a tricky transfer of Signal app accounts, helped with a photo data problem, saw how to restore visual message alerts that I had inadvertently turned off, and talked me through every one of my issues. Outstanding time and attention to the customer. Thank you.

I went to purchase a Playstation 5 game system, and an additional game control. The game control I found was in a torn up box, so I asked the guy that was stocking shelves at the time if they could sell the controller at a discount. He said yes, and to ask them when I got up to the register. I asked a second guy at the register if they could offer a discount, and he said yes that they could sell it at an "open box" price. He then looked in the system to see what the recent open box price was and said he could sell it for 53.99, but he needed a manager to override it in the system. A manager finally came over (his name was TJ) and argued it didn't need a discount. This was frustrating after being told we would receive the discount from two other employees. TJ finally agreed he could give us a small discount, but that we would have to wait 30 minutes for him to put it in the system, which is ridiculous. We have had other issues with this same store as we have purchased multiple items for pickup only to get them home and find out they were used. We bought a snowblower, got it home to find dust and debris in it. This was extremely frustrating as we had to lug the heavy box back to the store for the return, and the manager at that time did nothing to address the troubles that caused. Please be careful shopping at this Best Buy, as it seems they don't respect or value their customers much.
