I didn't accept their expensive membership or let them charge me an outrageous price to simply plug a little more ram into my Laptop. They wanted me to leave my laptop for a simple 2 minute upgrade. I just bought the card and came home and plugged it into my own laptop. It took me literally 2 minutes with no issues. I haven't been back there.

- MCmc CMDec 27, 20252.0Poor Customer Service skills and/or accommodations. I recently bought a pair of open boxed Bose QuietComfort ultra headphones for $246.99. The sale on new ones is $269.99. I drove to Best Buy from Grand Haven, only to get home and find out the left speaker has a nonstop clicking noise. I drove back to Best Buy in Norton Shores to exchange them. They wanted me to pay the difference. I explained I do Customer Service for a living and the right thing to do, considering my time and gas to have to return, would to doing an even swap. They said no. I explained that it was their lack of QC of checking to see that the headphones actually worked properly before reselling them as open boxed caused this issue. They did not care and the kid had an attitude about it. I will not be shopping at this Best Buy and probably not any other Best Buy going forward given their stance of “You bought open boxed and assumed the risk it didn’t work properly.” I can see why Best Buy is struggling as a business to keep their brick and mortar stores open.
