- MMMartyFeb 1, 20262.0Always happy with the service provided by Verizon, however I’m not entirely happy with my visit there yesterday. My wife and I came in to inquire about upgrading our phones. Josh was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the products. He was also VERY pushy at trying to sell us things that he was told up front we weren’t interested in. I didn’t come in to upgrade my plan, purchase add-ons to my plan, or buy your over priced insurance. I simply said I wanted to upgrade our devices. Apparently the $2500 in products that were purchased weren’t enough for him. He still had to insist on purchasing the insurance and pushed added services on our quote to upgrade. This is what I call retail rape, no means NO! Maybe these associates should just be paid a flat hourly rate and not commission. That would solve the issue with high pressure sales tactics. This experience was just as bad as going to a used car sales lot!
