I initially gave a one-star rating, but I am updating it to five stars thanks to one exceptional individual: (Pre). We contacted him via Instagram, and he was the only person who took full responsibility for my issue and handled it with complete professionalism. He did not ignore my complaint and made every effort to ensure the problem was resolved properly—something I did not experience with customer service representatives or with an employee named Jacob from the Geek Squad team at the Madison Heights, Michigan branch.
Based on my experience, Jacob was unhelpful throughout the process. The issue with my device remained unresolved, yet I was informed that if I did not pick it up, it would be sent to the disposal department, despite the fact that the problem had not been fixed. He assured me that he would speak with his supervisors and follow up with me regarding a solution. However, I never received any updates, follow-up calls, or communication from him, which made the situation even more frustrating and disappointing.
Because of this experience, I truly hope that Best Buy makes significant improvements in selecting, training, and monitoring its customer service staff, especially those who deal directly with customers. High-quality service is crucial for maintaining the company’s reputation and ensuring customers feel heard and respected.
My deepest appreciation goes to Pre , whose professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine willingness to help truly stood out. He addressed the issue efficiently, communicated clearly, and did not ignore the complaint as others had. Thanks to his dedication and support, the problem was finally resolved.

Dont Come here on Black friday. This store had 60 ppl standing in line at checkout. And only 1 cashier on black friday . This is ridiculous. They got 5-6 security guards standing at front door . Just creepy . It’s one thing to greet someone but to constantly follow a person in the gaming section of the store is ridiculous. Lots of creepy old men in this store, creepy old bald men. You know what would be helpful if they had a representative helping answer questions near the film camera section of the store. Seems to be the one place they avoid.

My granddaughter wanted a princess tablet for her birthday (last weekend) I called everywhere looking for it, I finally found it at this location. I called and asked if they could hold it for me, and unfortunately they couldn't due to there only being one. The young lady suggested that I order it online and can pick it up within an hr. I thought I was going to be so late getting to the party, but the hr, turned into 15 mins. All the staff members treated my son and myself like family. This will be my new Best Buy❣️❣️

The last three times I walked into this location I went straight to the appliance section and started browsing and could not get helped. I am in the market for a few appliances, and wanted to talk through my options and possibly purchase a gas range. As I walked the section looking at everything I could be getting in the next few months it almost felt like employees were avoiding me. I thought to myself maybe I was too casual the first 2 times I tried this, so the last visit I went in after work while I was wearing a suit and still couldn't get help in the appliance section. Today I am going to start exploring my other options for purchasing appliances since I can not be helped at this location.
