Took my dog in for an ear infection and if he was up for it, a nail trim. Vet confirmed it was indeed an ear infection and they needed to do a swab to determine what infection so I could get the proper medication. All is normal and pleasant. Then the vet leaves and I meet Cassidy, the most rude and unprofessional tech I've ever met in my 20+ years of being a pet owner. She presents me with the iPad that shows my charges for what I believe to be a routine visit. She explains that I owe $304 for today's visit. Keep in mind, besides the initial exam (which is free because I'm part of the Pet Care Club program that they offer), no procedures or services have been done at this point. When I saw the cost of the treatment was over $300, I respectfully questioned with a slight chuckle in my voice that $304 for ear drops is quite excessive. The way she responded you would have thought I reached in her pocket and took $300 of her own money from her. She was rude and derogatory and I simply said I would like to pay whatever I owe up into this point because we're leaving. I take my dog back to my vehicle and at that moment I decide if she's going to react that way to a person over a billing issue how is she going to interact with my dog if he's not cooperative and I'm not in the room with him. I then go back in because I would like to cancel that pet care club program that I pay a monthly fee to be a part of. Before I can talk to the receptionist, who I found out is actually the supervisor, Cassidy sees me waiting at the counter and takes it upon herself to interject. Before I can get a word in to the receptionist she says "he's done here. He doesn't owe anything. He can go now". I respond by matching her energy and ask her "what is with the attitude? When we were in the back room discussing the bill, although I disagreed with the total, I was nothing but calm, collective and respectful". The receptionist who I stated earlier was actually the supervisor then spoke up and told Cassidy she needs to stop, she needs to leave and she will take it from here. The supervisor was fantastic by the way. I cancelled my Care Club, respectfully told them 95% of people who bring their dog in for an ear infection is not expected to shell out over $300. I will not be bringing any of my three animals back to this establishment and I apologize for the situation that occurred. I understand a company has the right to set their own prices but I as a consumer have the right to refuse those prices and go somewhere else. But even after all that, Cassidy was the defining reason I chose to terminate my business with this establishment. The lack of self-control and professionalism is completely unacceptable and I can't help but think the effects that will have on the animals that she treats.

Our normal vet was closed and our dog was having a diabetic episode and they got us in on a fully booked day and saw our baby when we weren't even patients! They explained everything so well and took amazing care of our girl
