Shame on me for assuming Verizon would have ethical marketing. The salesman convinced me to instead of trading in my old phone, keep the phone and get a new line and downgrade my plan because he said you don’t need 5G UW, and that it would all be cheaper that way. This month, my bill was $279. Because my plan was downgraded, I lost my legacy bundle with Hulu, ESPN, and Disney+. I feel like I was completely manipulated by this salesman who probably just wanted to make a bigger commission at my expense. Don’t trust the people who work at this store, especially if you’re going in alone as a woman. I feel manipulated and preyed on.
