I had the best experience at this apple location. i picked up my phone from novi apple store wanting to do a trade in for my iPhone 12 pro max. it had one of 3 broken glass on the camera, and they wanted to give me $0 trade-in value for my phone (even though it worked perfect and had no other problems at all). i walked into this store attempting to return my phone because i wasn’t about to pay full price for a phone. Eti and her manager were so great to work with, they tried to help me as much as they could and they gave me $220 trade in value because they didn’t want me to return my phone! Complete life savers. Eti helped me transfer over all my data, and took care of me until the very end. I appreciate them so much and I will be recommending everyone go to this store from now on!

This store desperately needs new leadership. I’ve visited this store five times and made four purchases. Most of the associates are kind and welcoming. However, the management needs to touch grass. As a Black man, I’ve felt the scrutiny and hesitantly accepted interactions with store management. Consistent bad customer service. I understand that Apple Stores are often targeted, but every interaction shouldn’t be met with suspicion of malice. The customer service provided here is lackluster and sets a poor example for Apple stores in the region. I’ve spoken to other Black men who have had similar experiences. This store is located in the most secure corridor in Detroit, with armed staff on-site. How much reassurance do you need? I am long-time Apple customer since the iPhone 4. This store as newcomer to the most racially diverse city in America with a history of racial issues this store should make a positive change in how we perceive and treat people. When making changes please consider promoting from within there are plenty of Detroit natives who can totally provide a better experience.

Fast and informative. Eti was so helpful and explained best options and was informative in a patient way without making feel dumb about my questions. She is wonderful and we were helped very quickly even though the place was pretty busy.

Looked up my item on apples site and the site said I had apple care and it was covered for parts/labor/damage all that good stuff. Had not been to this store yet so figured I would drive down to check it out. Pay for parking and walked over. Fella greeted me at the door seemed nice and took me over to a table to wait for the Tech. Waited about 10 minutes then she came over to help. She was helping two other people at the time but that seems normal for them to bounce back and fourth so I did not mind at first. Runs a Diagnostic and bounces off to help the other person. Ten more minutes goes by and she comes back, and said the diagnostic failed to run. So she runs again and disappears. Test fails again. A bit later she comes back and said that even though I have apple care, the unit is vintage and that they can't order parts for it. I can either get a trade in credit or I can call apple and get a replacement online. FYI the trade in credit was only $300, not the value of the unit. When you have a BestBuy or Microcenter service plan , the credit is the value you paid for it. I guess Apple cares less about their customers than those places which is sad for a multibillion dollar company. When I was sold apple care in the first place the apple rep never told me that was a thing. Just boasted about how you can take it to any apple store across the country for repairs at anytime.
The website said I could take into any store when I looked up the serial number, said nothing about vintage. So now I Drove downtown out of my way, paid for parking and stood there for 30 minutes or more just to waste my time to tell me I have to call the apple customer support.
The tech was polite, but useless customer service, no matter how polite is still useless. I Will not be going back to this store and will probably re-evaluate my choices to buy apple products going forward.
