Would not let me talk to someone in that actual store and would not even give me an estimate of the cost just told me I had to schedule an appointment.

Worked mostly with the floor people. They gave me a lot of incorrect information. Such as warranty work, TV capacities and such. They're people should all have the same knowledge. They should never give false information, from any employee. I've had this problem in the past with Best Buy.

Terrible work. I brought my MacBook in to GeekSquad because I was having an issue where every time I searched something on google chrome or safari it would redirect me to some other sketchy search engine that I didn't authorize. Also under my google chrome settings it said my browser was "managed by your organization" which I KNEW wasn't right. I showed them both of these issues when I brought it in and they told me I had malware/spyware on my computer and it would cost $150 to fix. I paid and after I got it home I opened chrome it still said "managed by your organization" and would occasionally redirect me to some other weird yahoo search engine again. So I took it back in the next day, and the GeekSquad employee tried to convince me that it is working correctly and now all up-to-date google chrome installs are "managed" on all computers and this is just a new feature google has implemented, which I knew wasn't true. I continued using it after I was assured they fixed the problem and I kept having sketchy and "Not Secure" search engines pop up. I came back once again and asked for a refund because they didn't fix what I paid them $150 to do and all he did was continue trying to tell me that this is what my chrome is supposed to do and that it is supposed to be "managed by your organization". I took it home and figured out how to get the malware off the computer myself, which was in fact a hijacker, and it is no longer "managed". Do yourself a favor and do a 30 minute google search, or take your device somewhere else and save your time and money.
