BUYER BEWARE. Bought a 300 dollar air purifier which broke within 2 months of purchase. Brought the device and receipt back to the store and was told there was nothing they could do.
No wonder no one shops at Best Buy anymore. Amazon would’ve stood behind this 100%. Was going to buy a laptop here as well, and they lost all of my business. Being cheap will bankrupt you in the long run. Stay away.
Talked with the Geek Squad and they were very helpful solving two problems with my data storage.
I want to thank Scott Merrill, a Premium Designer at the Ann Arbor Best Buy store. To preface my review, I wanted to share that I'm in my 70s, and I remember when customer service was the most valuable asset a corporation could have. Many corporations have forgot that. But it was Scott that showed me that Best Buy still valued high levels of customer service.
I had begun my search for replacing my projector and the first place I went was the Ann Arbor Best Buy store. Scott greeted me and immediately was kind, friendly and I could tell I was fortunate that he was there that day. His knowledge of all things electronic was such a help for me. I knew what I wanted but needed guidance on getting just the right projector. Scott provided several options, and also shared what he thought would work well in the space I have. At my age, I know I ask a lot of questions and that didn't phase Scott at all. At my age, more than likely I asked the same question more than once without knowing, but Scott was very kind and helpful. I was impressed with Scott as he was so knowledgeable about a new projector that had not even gone out to stores yet. Since it is so new we are waiting for the shipping, but I'm so impressed with Scott that I'm willing to wait as long as it takes as I know he is looking out for me. For Best Buy management, Scott is amazing with sales. I had considered projectors that ranged around $4,000 or less and with Scott's knowledge, I purchased a projector that was around $5,600 with the tax. It didn't take me long to know that Scott was a trustworthy and knowledgeable employee, so I didn't have to think about increasing what I had planned to spend on the projector. Having Scott on the Best Buy team is a win for the consumer and for Best Buy...
Just browsing, looking for an ice maker and boat speakers. No boat speakers on site. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I had an exceptional experience here, with great service and was helped in obtaining exactly what I needed for a router/modem combo. Staff was friendly, competent, and helpful. Nick helped steer me in the right direction for my needs, and helped me pick out an exceptional product with a great warranty and protection plan for the price. Would recommend to anyone in the area who needs stuff now, and doesn't feel like waiting for an Amazon delivery.
