    Do not buy appliances here. My parents bought a refrigerator 2 years ago. It stopped working right before Christmas. They called Best Buy for repair service. No help. Told only 1 year warranty. Found a whirlpool repair man on their on who found compressor also gone on a 2 yr old refrigerator. Now they have to get a new one. Do not buy appliances here.

    I purchased a Kindle on 12/19 and it didn’t hold a charge and had major glitches. I went to the store to exchange it and was told they were out of stock and to return the item and repurchase online. When I got home, the item was no longer on sale and I called to see if the price could be adjusted and was told because I had returned the item they couldn’t exchange it. I feel scammed and will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau.

    Be careful when purchasing "Open Box" items from Best Buy -- their descriptions cannot be trusted. I purchased an LG Range that was an Open Box, but was rated as "Excellent". Per their website, Excellent means "...like new, all accessories included." The label mentioned "Scratch." No big deal, I thought. We picked it up and when we got it home, both sides were dented in ~ 3", and the back was pushed in 3" too. One of the knobs was missing, the LP conversion kit, manual, griddle and broiler pan were missing. Per their website, the item "includes all parts and accessories." More frustrating than anything, when you call, you can't get to the local store (Portland Maine), instead you get some corporate help center, and their only recourse was to "pack it up and return it". Do you know how frustrating it is to go through the hassle of purchasing and transporting a stove only to find out you have been lied to by Best Buy? I will be visiting the store tomorrow, let's see what they do. Update ..... The next day, I visited the Portland Maine store where I purchased the item. They were understanding and polite, but they could not quickly resolve the issue --- specifically they could not provide or even order the missing parts (most importantly the LP conversion kt that would make the stove useable.) They did acknowledge the stove should not have been categorized as "Excellent", so they provided a refund down to what the "Fair" price would have been. I was satisfied with that approach. I was able to repair the dents enough to make the stove useable once we get the LP Conversion kit and knob. They are sending a repair person to identify and presumably order the missing parts. Unfortunately, the repair visit will take a couple of weeks. I hope they can get the parts soon. More to follow. Update #2 ... the local repair person called last week and agreed to order the critical parts to be sent directly to my home. They arrived today. He was very helpful and gave me his contact information with an invitation to call him if anything was not correct. Overall, BB changed what started out as a very frustrating experience into something fair. We ended up with a "fair condition" stove at thier "fair condition" price. My original caution still holds -- review Open Box items carefully ... don't assume description is correct so you won't be disappointed. I have updated my review to a 4-Star based on their response to remedy my situation.

    Horrible experience with Best Buy. Purchased for delivery a 100” LG TV and Geek Squad mounting service on 11/17/25. Fast forward to 12/20/25…THREE different delivery and installation appointments cancelled by Best Buy DAY OF each time. No calls, no apologies, no reasons given. The only way you know they’ve cancelled your appointment is the ETA tracking on their app for delivery on the day of goes from an estimated time to ‘Complete’ and then you get an email saying ‘Time to reschedule your delivery appointment’. Completely obnoxious and abhorrent customer experience. Wasted hours of my time rescheduling work meetings, activities with my kids and rearranging furniture for delivery 3 different times just for Best Buy to cancel day of and throw off my whole day and they clearly couldn’t care less. You’d think something simple like buying a TV and having it delivered and mounted would be right in their wheelhouse but apparently this was too tall of an order - I guess indicative of why Best Buy is slowing going under and will be lucky to be around in another few years. Luckily an attorney advised me that this is considered consumer fraud ‘bait and switch’ and that I have a pretty clear case on my hands. I will give a shout out to Matthew the store manager because he at least tried to help. So 5 weeks from paying up front over $3,300, no TV and dozens of hours wasted waiting around, on with customer support, going to the store, moving furniture, and general frustration at this theft. I learned my lesson, buy from Amazon and find someone to help with installation. To be clear, taking someone’s money for a product that you claim to have then not delivering it is called….STEALING. So with no resolution or communication from Best Buy whether I’d ever actually receive the TV I paid for, I was forced to cancel my order as my only option. In summary, complete waste of time, energy and stress and honestly the worst customer experience I’ve ever had dealing with Best Buy and their illegal consumer fraud business practices. If the item you want isn’t physically in their store, you’re unlikely to ever receive it. BEWARE! ***Assuming I will receive the same canned reply from Best Buy that many others with issues have gotten on here asking me to ‘connect’ with them on social media. I’m an adult male in my 40s thus don’t have social media, so if the store would like more info, my email and phone are surely in your system from my scammed order. Thank you. *****Perfect response from Best Buy - clearly didn’t even read my review or what I said. And I didn’t leave a review on Facebook, I don’t have Facebook if you’d actually read what I wrote. Great continued example of their non existent attention to their customers.

    Disappointed. I ordered my very first MacBook in a long time from Best Buy because of the deal with 200 off. It shipped from Portland, Maine, even though it had a Kentucky return address because it said on the tracking information that it originated in Portland. When I received it today, I opened up the box to find that my laptop had zero wrapping or cushion around it. It was just my MacBook laptop in a much larger box that it had been rattling around inside in the back of a delivery truck for several days and the box looked like it had taken a beating. I’ve previously ordered a MacBook from Apple and it came packaged like Fort Knox so seeing another MacBook ordered from Best Buy come in a very different state, felt upsetting and frankly dampened my experience and excitement. I then had to drive to the Maine Mall and beat holiday traffic to replace it the same day just so it wouldn’t be out of stock. The gentleman at the store helped me, but there was very little acknowledgment of how poorly it was wrapped or how it had created a stressful situation. What I went to go get another MacBook that box was also dinged, and I kept on asking for another one until I got one that wasn’t damaged. Get it together, Best Buy.
