I understand that vets are understaffed and I hope they're able to find more staffing, it's been 5+ years of being "understaffed" we once had 3 dogs go here, now only 1, after this 0. All dogs are alive, this establishment is just so unbelievably rude, dismissive, and overbooked that none of our dogs can receive care. Dulcie, the secretary, she could not be less impressed nor caring of her job. My senior dog needs his medical records sent to two places (me and dentist), you'd think I had asked her to count to 1 million over the phone. Incredibly rude, wouldn't get any advice from doctors on my current situation. Zero 'bedside manner' in the slightest. The only information Dulcie could give after refusing to ask a Vet was "put him on wet food" as if the 16yo dog is not already on wet food, and as if I had not just said that his tooth is falling out.
Yall might be short staffed, if you fired Dulcie, you'd probably see a rise in productivity by eliminating rude people.
Life long clients with 3 dogs 16,4, and 2, now you have 0/3.
Used to be a great establishment, hopefully with expanded personnel (and new secretaries) you can be again!

They are truly out for money I being broke and jobless for so long finally got some work and money saved to try to help my aging girl with her hip dysplasia as well as having diarrhea for almost the entire winter I got a "free appt" for first time going all they had was the tech I only was informed this when I stated I wanted shots for my dog and maybe blood taken and they told me next time there will be a vet there ... In the end I had 350 on me in case for shots or extra charges they gave me a bill of 279 dollars and it was only like 12 cans of food a small bag of dry food and some powder to add to the food that looked like you would buy at a store, she refused to eat the powder, and all but 1 can of food and the dry food she's refusing to eat as well. Almost 300 dollars wasted and I get paid every 2 weeks using all I have each appt to be soarly disappointed, How's that a free office visit that was a waste of what I feel time that is running out she has been getting worse and after 4 visits and some blood work found out she had Lyme again, I had to explain to the " vet " what doxycycline was and that she had it before then after explaining it to her and talking about how it cured her before in a week they tried to tell me that it was just still in her blood from 7 years ago when my original vet who retired and was the best ever already informed me long ago it would max be in her blood 3 to 5 years, each time I explained something the "vet" had to leave the room and discuss it with someone out of sight then when another "vet" came in she did exactly what I've seen on these reviews a bunch of times stood there ignoring my dog who has never bit never attacked anyone sh acted uneasy and scared my dog I kept telling her you just need to pet her she just proceeded to ignore me, my phone died so I couldn't get my ride I had no numbers so I asked if anyone had a c type charger I could use they said no.... like no one had one??? I doubt that! I walked from Stetson to central maine community college in Auburn 5 hrs almost with my sick pup in hot heat after being in a baking hot room for an hr my dog was worse for wear so after a mix up I thought I only had to give 100 to expand this blood test I had to scrape the money together that night so I dropped off the 104 dollars in the am on the way to work then was told it was 250 when they called later and that she has Lyme so I got the medicine 40 bucks later a walk that took almost a day and 2 rides to be told I couldn't have my 60 dollars back because no cash was on hand and I couldn't buy food or anything I could only use it towards more visits, I could tell they didn't care about my dog each time I went I waited and waited outside like was told and the last appt I was outside and on hold for 20 mins when I went in she said your late 10 mins idk if we can still see you they did because no customers were there, every time I waited for about 30 mins to have someone come get me and yes there are some genuinely kind hearts here but I think whoever is behind the curtains running this facility is not very kind or compassionate, when I had an issue with my dog and went to her old vet at anabessacook vet she would teach me what could be wrong not the other way around all appointments at this place I've gotten zero help zero answers aside from the blood test I tell them my concerns and they just shake there head and say ohhh really ohhh poor girl and feel a couple lumps and look at her half heartedly not truly caring just out to get you to come back I don't feel this place wants to heal my dog I'm sorry to say I don't have time and I don't have this kinda money to waste over and over I got without somethings is the only way for me to get her to these appointments and when nothing is being solved what is one to do but try elsewhere sorry to say this but feel we have an obligation in these times to try to help each other in any way possible and to be like brother and sister in horribly divided times... I pray for this place to please change there ways this is unsettling
