As I was out running my Saturday errands, I was scheduled for an appointment with BestBuy located at 10901 Georgia Ave. I met to delightful young men. Both were very helpful as they worked together as a TEAM.
Gabriel handled the technical support of my visit and Bilal assisted with supporting information in ways of learning some "how to" and I was grateful. Bothe employees were respectful and kind. I appreciated they were both in tune with the details of my computer maintenance. KUDOS to Gabriel and Bilal and a BIG thank you to BestBuy for both of these young men!

I had one of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever dealt with at the Wheaton Best Buy, specifically because of the Experience Supervisor, Christopher De La Rosa.
I arrived at the store at 9 PM the night before a Pokémon release and waited overnight until 10 AM — nearly 12 hours — under the clear expectation that customers would be able to purchase items as intended for the drop. Like everyone else there, I invested serious time, energy, and planning to be first in line.
When we finally got inside, Christopher De La Rosa abruptly announced that it would be “one item per customer,” which immediately upset everyone who had been waiting all night. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he became visibly frustrated, raised his voice, and insisted “that’s how it’s always been,” despite that not being communicated beforehand and clearly not aligning with expectations for this type of release.
What makes this even worse is the complete inconsistency and unfairness that followed. After people behind me in line argued with management, the rules suddenly changed. Those same customers were allowed to cut the line and purchase one per SKU of every item — exactly what the rest of us had waited overnight for.
So after waiting 12 hours, I was limited to one item, while people behind me walked away with full allocations simply because they pushed back harder. By that point I was exhausted, starving, and already on my way home — completely drained and frustrated.
This was a failure in communication, leadership, and basic fairness. If limits are going to be enforced, they need to be clearly stated ahead of time and applied consistently — not changed on the fly depending on who complains the loudest.
Extremely disappointing experience, and it makes me seriously question whether it’s worth ever supporting Best Buy or participating in a release at this location or any location again

This Best Buy has changed around big time. Employees are helpful. had 2 workers help us in both times for 2 hours helping us. 8 felt like we were being a problem but we were not. happy with our purchases and will be coming back for almost all my streaming and tech supplies.

I highly recommend Best Buy for their fair prices and excellent service. The experience was smooth and professional. I also want to praise their technician, Dereck, who serves Montgomery and PG County, Maryland. With over 27 years of experience, he is skilled, courteous, and detail-oriented. He installed my window AC perfectly and ensured everything worked well. Highly recommended!

The customer service is really bad. Is a store to buy little accessory is fast but if two or more person need help to buy the correct laptop or correct cables to create a audiovisual system, is very slow because they don't have enough especialist employees. One hour just to ask and buy a special cable. No good.
