  My 80-year-old father went into there and they told him he would have to change his phone number. They tried to upsell him on an iPhone when he went in there wanting the a15 which was $0 where you can add your phone number Did it online but he wanted to do it in the store because activation is tough but I went through all the stuff with him and I sent him there while I was at work with instructions. They still tried to take advantage of an 80-year-old. Luckily he called me and I told him to leave I called the store and she tried to gaslight me into saying that he would have to upgrade. But she gave herself away when she said iPhone and then backtracked. Not polite on the phone obviously not knowledgeable about the deals that are currently going on. Changing a phone number especially for an 80 year old with two factor authentication being a thing can upend a life bills that are paid medical portals all these things that are hard enough for 80 year olds to navigate that they can barely navigate as it is to change a phone number would be extremely difficult for an 80-year-old to suggest that it's negligent in my opinion. I can't believe that this has so many good reviews I sent him out of the way to Pasadena cuz it had all five star reviews. Will never go to the Pasadena cricket. If I do get the cricket deal on the internet which he can keep his phone number with will definitely be going to a new location but this makes me question cricket as a company. Be careful on sending senior citizens here with them trying to upsell for a cell phone network where it is for people that don't want the fancy stuff. And again it is crazy to try to convince somebody to get a new phone number in 2025 absolutely crazy You just cannot do that Your phone number is connected to too many things This man has had this phone number since his first cell phone This is insane.
