I’ve had them out here before and I’ve never been disappointed. So I’m sending my appreciation and hugs to Geek Squad.
- MBMr.CantSnipe BrophessorMay 28, 20251.0I had them install a 4 channel amp, a new head unit, and all new door speakers. The install guys were rude and unprofessional. Before leaving I tested the speakers and they sounded awful. 10 times worse than my stock speakers. So bad I couldn’t even listen to it. I went and asked the guy if they were supposed to sound like that. He instantly blamed me because I turned the volume up and messed with the radios EQ (both of which I had done after already hearing how terrible it was). He went over to my car and started testing it. He wouldn’t admit that they sounded worse than what I came in with. Wouldn’t admit that it sounded bad. Then he told me to come look at his car (which I did) saw his stuff. It was like 4 or 5 different high end speaker in his drivers side door. Then he told me “yeah, I do this for a living.” Ok bro, ok. I then went to a professional to get some actual work done and he told me that geek squad owings mills used the wrong gauge wire coming off the battery (used 8 gauge when it should be 4 gauge) didn’t wire the speakers right or the amp right. Apparently the four channel amp is being used as a two channel amp and I’m missing a pair of RCA’s. Ontop of that the amp was also tuned terribly which the geek squad rude boy had told me he sat there for an hour tuning it. Never get your car audio done here and I wouldn’t recommend you get any other car devices installed here because of their rude attitudes plus the long wait time (I had to wait over a month for my appointment)

I drove 30 miles to hear this bs. I also noted the employees are least bothered and had no motivation at all. Worst experience for me..
