The service was inconsistent with what i am used to from Best Buy. I purchased a camera last May. Purchased the extended warranty, I have a ton of events coming up and the camera stops working. Take it to the Glen Burnie location. The guy at the desk seemed uninterested in answering questions. Gave me short answers to specific questions. I was advised that the camera would be overnighted via Fed Ex. I leave the store only to be contacted and told that they need the lens that came with it in order to be shipped off. Now i have to go back to the store, the same person that helped the first time helps again. Says nothing no apologies for not explaining/stating he needed the lens, for me having to come back again. Then i get an email saying it wont be delivered until the 4th. Again I was told it would be shipped via overnight. Called to speak with someone to only go through a switchboard, then transferred to the store, to then be sent to voicemail. Customer service needs some work seems like the Geek squad at this location needs retraining.

I’m leaving this review a whole lot later than I meant to, but I wanted to make sure that I did because of the quality of service I received.
Raheem and James, thank you so much for helping me not only fix my laptop, but also to pursue a refund at another Best Buy location. The first location I went to treated me terribly, wasting my time and money without providing a fix. I was treated with disrespect and left with subpar workmanship.
But when I came to the Glen Burnie Geek Squad location, the issue diagnosed properly and dealt with quickly. On top of that these two technicians gave me the resources I needed to contact leadership at a location that had wasted my time (after I complained that I couldn’t reach them by calling or through online chat service). They really made my day, and all these months later, my laptop is still in tip top shape. They took their time to patiently explain what was wrong with my device and how they could help me, compared to other places that will take your money and leave you confused when they can’t help you.
If I need to go to Geek Squad again in the future, I’ll definitely be going back to this location. I prefer establishments where the technicians treat customers like people, and don’t expect gratitude for doing the bare minimum. James and Raheem went above and beyond.
