This is the email I had to send because of my experience here:
Best Buy Corporate Team,
I am writing to report a very frustrating experience I had today at the Best Buy store in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
I entered the store with the intention of purchasing a Lenovo IdeaPad Pro tablet. While browsing the tablet area, I had a pleasant conversation with the AT&T sales representative, who was helpful and professional. However, he was unable to access the locked cabinet where the tablets were stored.
I then waited for a Best Buy sales associate to become available so the cabinet could be opened and I could complete my purchase. Unfortunately, every associate who finished helping a customer immediately moved on without assisting anyone else waiting. After roughly 15 minutes of trying to get assistance, I walked to the front register to ask for help. I was told the employees at the register could not leave their area.
I then asked if a manager could assist.
After waiting another five minutes, a manager named Dylan came out. I explained the situation and simply asked him to follow me to the tablet cabinet so I could retrieve the item and purchase it. Instead of resolving the issue, he told me I would have to wait in queue again for another sales associate.
At this point, I had already spent over 20 minutes in the store just trying to get a cabinet opened so I could buy a product. Rather than de-escalating the situation or assisting with a simple task, the manager chose to enforce the queue system despite being fully capable of unlocking the cabinet himself.
Because of this, I ultimately left the store without making the purchase. I later decided to buy the tablet from Amazon, even at a higher price, because it did not make sense to give my business to a store that appeared unwilling to complete a sale.
This situation should never occur. A customer ready to purchase should not spend over twenty minutes waiting for someone to unlock a cabinet, especially when a manager is available and capable of resolving the situation immediately.
I would appreciate this incident being reviewed and the store leadership reminded that customer service should prioritize helping ready-to-buy customers complete their purchases rather than creating unnecessary barriers.
Sincerely,
Bryan Mills

In addition to being unable to reach the store by phone, they have cut their staff down to the bare minimum. It took 20 minutes to pick up an order that we were told was ready for pickup.

Best Buy has had my camera since January 30 and as of February 18 my camera is still in the same state that it was on February 12. I have yet to hear back from anyone from the Glen Burnie location. I have went there multiple times and still do not have my camera back. This is beyond frustrating. I will make sure to use all of my platforms to express how I have been treated the service that I have received and why Best Buy is not the place to purchase electronics such as cameras I should be able to call and speak with someone instead I’m sent to a switchboard that tells me there’s nothing they can do. Therefore, I am inconvenienced and have to travel to the store itself to walk away with the same answers. I do not feel Best Buy has not done anything to rectify this situation or to even assist me in the next steps I have traveled to their store on at least 4 separate occasions. I need someone to contact me because I no longer have the patience to wait. The manager Dylan is the absolute worst and only added to the frustration. He has not attempted once to figure out what’s wrong. It took other stores and employees to express that I should have been recieved my camera back. Let alone to figure out why it has not been returned.
