  I needed a screen protector put on my iPhone. Garland Tyree in the waugh chapel store did a fantastic job. He took his time and it looks perfect. He was friendly and efficient. I just can’t say enough about how much I appreciate his outstanding work. Thank you

  My husband & I were traveling when my old phone got a virus which couldn't be remedied. Perry Boca, the Verizon sales representative tried his best, but because our phones were old, & we were due for an upgrade, we decided to trade them both in. Perry was so patient explaining everything & transferred all of our data for us, helping us pick the correct accoutrememts needed. You may be saying, "That's his job", but you still would be as impressed as we were by Perry's knowledge & kindness. In a super special review for a super special person, I like to say, "Give him a raise, he certainly deserves one!"

  Find a real Verizon store. This authorized dealer charges fees that Verizon does not and lies about them. No refunds though, I complained and got store credit. No thanks. I still ended up at an actual Verizon store because they got my promo wrong.

  On August 3, 2025, I visited the Verizon store in Gambrills, MD in search of a new cell phone. I was assigned a male individual to assist me. I explained, my current phone would no longer hold a charge and I needed something similar to my current phone. I only use my phone for texting, phone calls, photos, emails, etc...very basic. The male individual (he never gave me a name and never looked directly in my direction) told me what he felt would be a good choice for me. However the phone needed to be ordered. On August 6, 2025, I revisited the Verizon in Gambrills (first customer of the day) to claim the phone and have all of the information forwarded from my old phone to the new phone. Two female employees were in the back of the store and one nodded to the other as to who would assist me. We sat down and no name was given to me. I made an attempt to converse with the female about the cold temperature in the store and she never looked in my direction. We began the process of claiming the phone and begin the set-up. She then proceeded to make additional sales pitches. The case - I was told if I didn't get the one in the store, that I would have a very difficult time finding one (S24FE). The charger - I was told that if I didn't get the charger from the store, my phone would not charge properly. The glass protector - I was told the one in the store was the best. All 3 sales pitches were bogus and yes, I did purchase all 3 thinking she was looking out for my best interest. A different case was ordered for me as a gift with no problem. I had 3 other chargers at home and all 3 charged perfectly fine and 1 was a little faster than the one I purchased. The glass protector cracked within a week when the phone slipped from my hand and hit the top of my foot. The female that waited on me was not in a good mood. However, when another male employee came in, they both fist bumped each other and she proceeded to tell the male employee the great time she had the night before somewhere. Before ALL of the information was transferred from one phone to the next, she told me I didn't have to stay and that I could leave. She followed me to my car when I asked if she could set-up my phone/car connection. When I got home, my phone was NOT working properly. All calls went directly to voice mail and there was no indication anywhere on the phone that a call was made along with a few other problems. I called Verizon in Gambrills and was told from the 1st person that he could not help me. I was transferred to the female that worked with me and she told me to turn the phone off then turn it back on. Of course that did not work. I was forced to visit another Verizon, in Watkins Park, and the experience there was so much better. Toby took the time to research the problem, and did in fact solve the issue. The issue was the initial incomplete set-up. Don't waste your time with Verizon Gambrills
