Honestly if I’m the owner of that store I would be so embarrassed of clients have an image so bad of my store. Or even be so embarrassed having to many incompetent employees that they don’t know what they are doing, or just come to the store clock in be on their phones, or just talk to each other. I was wondering why they had to many bad reviews, and now that I experience myself I do understand, DON’T EVEN COMING BACK TO THIS STORE AGAIN, really though as the best company and best service, customer service would be the same, but that store in Gaithersburg and being the corporate definitely it giving a bad image to Verizon.

- SWSophie WoodOct 15, 20251.0I went to this store to do what was supposed to be a quick and simple trade in, but was instead greeted by a female employee with the worst customer service attitude I've honestly ever come across. Did not get her name, but this employee was the only female working on 10/14 at approx. 7:35 PM. She did not assist me at all, tried to tell me I was wrong and had to ship my phone when I selected in-store trade in, didn't offer to provide a work around, and didn't speak with a respectful tone. Overall - horrible experience from her. If it wasn't for her manager who happily assisted me with respect, kindness, and had an amazingly friendly attitude (was male wearing Washington Commander's shoes), I would've taken myself straight to T-mobile to switch carriers, because absolutely not. He was able to accept my trade in within 5 minutes. If I had worked with him only, this review would've probably been 4-5 stars. But this 1 bad employee tarnished the rep/review for the whole store.

We called Verizon support in the morning and they told us what they were going to do to help solve our problem and that if we went to this store they would do what the service rep said. AJ basically dismissed what the Verizon service rep told us and walked away. Verizon stores have the worst service. Every time we go for a new phone the service at the stores are any combination of rude, dismissive, and untrue (we’ve been flat out lied to about what to expect on our bill). Of course, that’s only when the store help bothers to approach you to offer their help. Verizon is the worst and the next time we go to purchase a phone we’ll be going to another cellular provider.
