The transition was smooth but I have since not got the $183.30 credit from Verizon. I registered a case with the customer service ( #MR-903127514-W01) to retrieve the credit and while the customer service confirmed that the amount will be credited in form of a via gift card, they have been beating around the bush and sent me a note this morning that I need to trade in my old phone to get the credit which is frustrating as that was not the part of the original offer. The store agent says nothing is in his hand which is also weird given that he confirmed the offer before I decided to transfer my line to Xfinity. My first experience with Verizon and I can tell the worst I have ever had as I feel cheated. It is surprising how companies like Verizon cheat their customers offering them deals which they later claim never existed. I expect Verizon to carefully handle my refund with this review.
