My family’s experience with the Wireless Zone Verizon outlet in Belcamp has been one of the most frustrating, unprofessional retail experiences I’ve ever been involved with.
My mother-in-law went in to set up a Verizon family promotional plan that was supposed to include her, my wife, and me with new phones and a discounted rate. She was told everything was in order. A few days later, the store called her back and had her loop us in to “finish things up.”
Red flag #1: The store associate texted me PINs and account information from his personal phone. That alone should’ve stopped the process.
When the “new” phones arrived, they had unknown phone numbers already attached to them. The phones wouldn’t make calls at all—only texting over Wi-Fi worked.
I contacted Verizon corporate customer service to fix the activation issues and properly move me onto the family plan. Shortly after that, my wife’s phone was flagged as fraudulent. Coincidence? Hard to believe.
When my wife called the store to ask what was going on, the associates became defensive, hostile, and rude, rather than helpful or professional.
After another full week and hours with Verizon technical support, corporate Verizon—not this store—finally got the phones activated.
Then came the final punch in the gut: A $650 bill for activations on FIVE phone numbers we do not recognize. Two might have been “temporary numbers,” but no one explained this, authorized it, or disclosed it upfront. We’re still working with Verizon to have those numbers removed.
At this point, our family has collectively spent over 12 hours on the phone with Verizon cleaning up a mess created entirely by this store.
Do yourself a favor:
If you want Verizon service, go to a corporate Verizon store or handle it directly online. This location caused confusion, billing chaos, and an enormous amount of wasted time—and took zero responsibility for any of it.

Romell & Jason did great. They gave me a good deal, with updating my old phone (it was very old). Great job guys! I was nervous but they made they process easy.

I went in there a to look for some service and possibly a new phone and I come in, nobody is in the store, it’s completely empty. I figured at least one worker would be up front there but no so I shouted hello many times and waiting for moments before some guy comes out from the back running out of breath, seeming bedraggled trying to adjust his pants and fix his collar and rushes up and says his name is “John” after multiple moments of me waiting and shouting out he barely started taking my address then all of a sudden not even 3 minutes later a girl comes from the back, also seems pretty off and trying to adjust the leggings and jump up into their pants, straightening the shirt and everything. A moment later another worker walks through the front of the store and starts directly assisting me, then the same “John” and female went and almost ran off directly to the back. Seemed very odd and didn’t sit right with me. Not sure what kind of place is being run or represented but they don’t seem as focused on front of the house so much as back of house. Overall not a great experience. The other gentleman was helpful but I can not remember his name but I think it was Jason and he helped answer my questions but the beginning was just very awkward
I stopped by this new store recently and had a great experience. From the second I walked in, I was greeted right away and never felt rushed. The team was friendly, patient, and clearly knew their stuff when it came to device upgrades and wireless plans. They broke things down in a way that made sense and actually helped me find the best option without trying to oversell me.
What I really appreciated was how efficient everything was — I was in and out faster than expected, and still felt like I got personalized attention. The store itself is clean, modern, and easy to navigate, which made the whole visit even smoother.
It’s rare to find staff who combine professionalism with genuine customer care, but this team nailed it. I’ll definitely be coming back here for future upgrades and account support.
I can’t say enough good things about the Belcamp Verizon team! Amanda, thank you for your patience! Breyonna, thanks for breaking down the promotions, and Jason, you made my visit a breeze. The whole team is friendly, knowledgeable, and fantastic. Manager Jonathan Savage—his name says it all. He’s a true savage at finding the best deals and making sure I walked out with the ultimate hookup. These guys and gals made the whole process smooth and stress-free, answering all my questions and making sure I left with exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for the best Verizon experience, Belcamp is the spot. Big shoutout to this amazing team!
